Built from the field up

Led by someone who has done the work

CD Construction Group is led by Zachary Kamats — ConstructionDad — who has spent more than two decades operating heavy equipment, managing crews and overseeing projects. He has worked the long hours, run the machines and solved the unexpected problems, and he knows what it takes to complete projects safely, efficiently and correctly.

Construction isn’t just a business to me. It’s the industry I’ve dedicated my life to.

Crew roles

Where you could fit in

Openings depend on current and upcoming projects.

Equipment operators

Run excavators, loaders, skid steers and other equipment on clearing, excavation, grading, trenching and site development work.

A good fit if you take pride in precise, safe operation and understand how good sitework sets up the rest of the build.

Laborers

Support crews across residential, commercial and sitework projects: site preparation, demolition and debris removal, concrete preparation, material handling and general jobsite work.

A good fit if you are dependable, safety-minded and ready to learn from experienced tradespeople.

Carpenters & framers

Framing and structural repairs, decks and porches, additions, interior and exterior renovations, and finish work.

A good fit if you build it right the first time and care about the details.

Project managers & field leaders

Plan, schedule and coordinate projects; supervise jobsites; manage subcontractors, suppliers and quality control; and keep clients informed.

A good fit if you are organized, communicate clearly and know what it takes to run a jobsite.
