Our process

How a project runs

Every project is different, but the way we work stays the same: honest communication, realistic expectations, and clear accountability from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

Five steps

From first call to final walkthrough

Here is what happens at each stage of a project — and what you can expect from us.

01

Consultation

It starts with a conversation. You tell us what you are planning — the property, your goals, your timing and the budget range you have in mind.

We ask questions, share what we know from the field, and give you honest answers about what the project is likely to involve.

What you get

  • A clear conversation about scope, goals and priorities
  • Honest, realistic expectations from the start
  • An agreed next step — usually a visit to the site

02

Site visit & estimate

We walk the property or building with you to see the conditions first-hand: access, existing structures, grades and drainage, and anything else that could affect the work.

Then we put together an estimate based on the scope we discussed, so you can see what it is built on.

What you get

  • A walkthrough with someone who has done the work
  • An estimate that spells out the scope it is based on
  • Answers to your questions before you commit

03

Planning & scheduling

Once you are ready to move forward, we plan the work: the sequence of phases, the trades and subcontractors involved, materials and equipment, and the permits or approvals the project needs.

Planning up front is what lets the work on site run in the right order, with the right people and materials in place.

What you get

  • A schedule that shows the order of the work
  • A clear picture of who will be on site, and when
  • Materials and equipment lined up for the work ahead

04

Site prep & build

Work begins with a properly prepared site — clearing, excavation, grading and utility work as the project requires — followed by the build itself.

Throughout the work we supervise the jobsite, check the quality of the work and keep you informed about progress. If something unexpected comes up, we talk it through with you before the plan changes.

What you get

  • Jobsite supervision and quality control
  • Progress updates and straight answers when questions come up
  • A say in decisions when conditions change

05

Clean, polish & walkthrough

When the work is complete, we don’t just pick up and leave. Every job finishes with a full, complete clean and polish, so you get back a finished space, not a jobsite.

Then we walk the finished project with you, review the details, address any remaining items, share any documentation that applies to the finished work, and stand behind the work we have performed.

What you get

  • A full clean and polish, not just a general pickup
  • A final walkthrough together
  • Remaining items addressed before closeout
  • A relationship that lasts long after the project is complete

Before your consultation

What helps us help you

None of this is required to get started, but the more we know, the more useful the first conversation will be. You can share a link to plans or photos right in the project form.

  • Photos of the property, building or space
  • Any plans, drawings or surveys you already have
  • A rough budget range
  • Your ideal timing, and any dates that are fixed
  • Anything we should know about access, utilities or HOA and landlord requirements

Communication & accountability

Clear communication at every step

We believe customers deserve honest answers, realistic expectations, and clear communication throughout the construction process.

Our objective is to simplify the construction process while maintaining clear communication and accountability from start to finish.
